Where it all began!
It all started on family holidays visiting my Nagymama (that's grandma in Hungarian!).
There was always a camcorder out, and it wasn't long until I was the one holding it. I'd film everything, sometimes the obvious family moments, but my favourites were always the little ones. I'd hide away, trying to capture my family just being themselves, completely unaware of the camera - I loved it when it turned into a little game too!.
Even as a kid, I don't think I was recording things just so we'd remember what happened. I wanted to hold onto how those moments felt. I knew one day we'd look back on them, and they'd mean even more.
That feeling never really left me. I graduated from that camcorder to a bright pink digital camera in my teens, and these days I'm still the person who'll always have a camera in hand.
Capturing life as it happens, no matter the occasion, has never just been about taking photos for me, it's about giving people a way to transport back to those moments.
After recently losing my Nagymama, it's only highlighted the love I have for our old videos and developed photos.
