Wedding
FAQ's
How do I secure you for my wedding day?
For weddings (and all services), a booking fee and contract is signed before we begin any planning processes. This is particularly important for you, in knowing you have secured me as a supplier, and important for me to make sure your wedding date is not offered to any other couple.
What happens after the booking fee and contact is signed?
We focus on how you would best like to start the planning process. Everyone has a different preferred method. I will always offer a video call, as it's great to put faces to names! And I appreciate others prefer phone calls/emails. It's important my couples feel comfortable throughout the whole process, leading right up to their wedding day.
How far do you travel for weddings in the UK?
Whilst I am based in Northamptonshire, I offer my services across the UK! It's important for couples to enquire first (with any supplier) to make sure this is feasible. It's less about the 'where' and more about accessibility. If I'm shooting a wedding in a remote area in Scotland, I need to understand how that could impact on travel and extended timelines, making sure I am there with plenty of time in preparation for your wedding day.
How often will we talk once I have booked you as my wedding photographer?
As much as you like - is the simple answer. I'm here to support you throughout the planing process as I have been a Northamptonshire bride myself! 6 weeks before your wedding date, you will be sent a questionnaire that goes through your special day in as much detail as possible. Leading up to this, I'll be taking notes as we go so that the final few weeks are stress free and I can support you and your partner on the actual wedding day.
Maternity, Newborn & Family Session
FAQ's
How far do you travel for your lifestyle photography packages?
When booking me for a maternity, newborn or family session in Northamptonshire (and surrounding) I will typically travel 60-90 minutes away from my home.
How do I know my booking is secure with you?
When a booking fee and signed contract is returned, this is confirmation that your booking is secure and I will not offer your date and time to anyone else. Of course, if we are planning an outdoor session, the contract will state that this is weather dependent, as well as any illnesses that could occur for you, your family members or even myself!. There will be a clearly outlined cancellation policy too with other terms and conditions that help you, as the client, receive full transparency from day one.
I want to book a photoshoot but I'm feeling unsure about the whole process...
It's natural to feel unsettled when making an investment that carries so much importance. No matter the photoshoot you are hoping for, we will be sure to have some planning in place. This includes what to expect, helpful tips and answering any questions that you might have leading up to your photoshoot. No question is a silly question in my eyes.
If I book the bump-baby package, how does this work? and when should I book this?
On booking this package, I would recommend booking after your 20-week scan. Your 'bump' part of this session is usually best between 28-34 weeks of pregnancy, and it's important for you to decide within this time frame dependent on how comfortable you will feel; as all pregnancies are different. When your newborn arrives, I would recommend having your session 5-14 days after giving birth. Once little one has arrived safely, pop me a message and we can get you booked in for this. Dependent on how you are feeling, this can be in your home, or in my home studio - there is no pressure to decide this until you are ready.
